Additional Interests and Experience

Before university, I played cricket and football for the local side for many years. At university I became a member of the Student Law Society which enabled me to obtain advice from solicitors about working in a legal career. Furthermore, I often visit Tameside Magistrates courts to observe proceedings. I am also a part time carer for my grandfather, who is disabled.

Affiliations

  • In my spare time, I am a keen football fan and loyal supporter of Oldham Athletic A.F.C., regularly attending both home and away matches. I follow the club’s progress closely — including their current campaign in EFL League Two following promotion back into the Football League via the National League play-off in 2025. Outside of football, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and my young daughter, as well as staying active by walking our dog and attending the gym. These activities help me maintain a healthy work-life balance and bring energy and focus to my professional work.
