Isla Stocks

I have achieved excellent grades for National 5 in Maths, Application of Maths, English, Art & Design, Geography, Biology, Graphic Communication and Practical Cookery.

I am currently undertaking my Higher year and confident in achieving high grades in the five subjects, allowing me to continue my studies to University.

Throughout my secondary education I have been recognised by the school for my hard work and dedication achieving excellence awards on a regular basis for all my subjects and representing my school in participating for the University of Edinburgh and Napier University Royal Institution Secondary Mathematics Masterclass.

I am honest, polite, hardworking and keen to learn. Once directed I am capable of working unsupervised and have a knack for multi tasking and I have a keen eye for detail.

• I enjoy spending my free time reading, listening to music and going to concerts, baking and spending time with my friends and family. I also enjoy playing golf and swimming.

I represented the school in attending the University of Edinburgh and Napier University Royal Institution Secondary Mathematics Masterclasses. I regularly achieve excellence awards for all my subjects recognising my hard work and achievements throughout the year.

In 3rd and 4th year I was part of a small group of nine undertaking Horticultural Studies learning about environmental impacts in growing food and plants.

I attended golf lessons for 8 years as a young girl and continued to play golf as a result.
