As a cross-sectional radiographer in an acute setting.

• Perform Various CT examinations including Angiograms, trauma scans, CT biopsies, gated cardiac CT, Cryo-guided CTs, Colonoscopy and protocol acute head scans and extrimities.
• Contribute to smooth, high-volume patient flow, following established procedures to maintain seamless department functions.
• Mentor and coach junior/ student radiographers, optimising wider team performance and productivity.
• Conduct quality control checks routinely for consistently reliable imaging results.
• Involve in audits and departmental presentations

• Performed various CT procedures according to site request/ protocol in a mobile setting/van. This included but not limited to Arterial, porto-venous studies, angiograms, Myeloma CT scans, low dose targeted lung screenings. Travelled to different locations including northeast, south west, midlands and Scotland NHS hospitals and CDCs
• Involved troubleshooting van, understood the dynamics of the mobile van, connections and set-up. Conducted regular checks, QA, dose optimisation, and also involved in performing and documenting background radiation outside the van and control area to ensure optimal functionality and reliability
• Set-up the van for the days business and prepare for transport at end of day. Ensured all images are securely sent to correct site trust PACS.
• Adhered strictly to radiation protection regulations safeguarding both self and patients from unnecessary exposure.
• Organised workflow effectively in a high-pressure environment to meet tight deadlines.

• I performed general radiographic studies, fluoroscopy, barium studies, general computed tomography procedures. Also worked as a sonographer for small parts involving thyroids, soft tissue, scrotal and trainee in ocular Ultrasound.
• Led quality assurance checks, reinforcing compliance with regulatory standards.
• Enhanced patient safety by adhering strictly to radiation protection protocols.
• Mentored student and junior radiographers
