I have 7 years General Radiography experience in which I undertake Radiographic examinations to a high standard


Adhere local rules, IR(ME)R (NI )2018 and IRR (NI) 2017 when undertaking Radiographic examinations


Follow my departments policies and guidelines in line with the promoting radiation safety and a high quality imaging service.


Work out of hours

Carry out Quality Assurance checks when required


Support and mentor student Radiographers


In the last 4 years I have gained experience working in Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology Teams.

I have experience with many complex and interesting cases (Neuro, Hepato-Biliary, Vascular, Oncology, Urology etc.)

I have used many different imaging modalities such as Phillips, GE and Siemens interventional suites between the Royal Victoria hospital and Belfast City Hospital.

I have experience using C - Arms in orthopaedics , Urology, Vascular and Neuro theatres. These included C arms capable of Rotaional 3D imaging and DSA acquisition.

I recently received training from the Siemens application specialists for the Icono Artis.

I am the IR departments QA lead.
