Summary

I have gained an array of transferable skills via a mix of restaurant/bar work, life experience, and ongoing study of engineering. The fast paced nature of hospitality work has given me very good time management skills, organisational skills, and the ability to keep a cool head whilst performing well under pressure. In addition, I have been given various levels of responsibility for leading teams of staff; therefore developing my communication skills, reliability, and ability to be a contributing member of a team.

Together with my workplace based experiences, my college studies have allowed for a clear base of knowledge for engineering. With skills in practical environments, problem solving, being accustomed to following detailed instructions and working to deadlines. Also while adhering to the high college standards. Therefore I know that this combination of experience along with my problem solving nature has allowed me to develop my work ethic into a mature and strong one with a proactive attitude towards continuing to learn.
