I am an 18-year-old first-year Business and Marketing student at Edinburgh Napier University with over five years of experience in different working environments. I have worked in front-of-house roles, as well as working as a tennis coach, giving me strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
I currently work at The Unit Gym & Fitness, founded by two-time Winter Olympian Ben Kilner. This has given me experience working in a busy fitness environment and interacting with a wide range of people.
Outside of work and university, I have developed a range of skills through different experiences. I was a Scout and have completed my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, helping me develop my leadership, organisation and responsibility.
I also run my own Depop account, where I have made over £2,500 in profit. Through this, I have developed a strong understanding of the UK fashion market, including current trends, popular styles and what customers are looking for. I have a good knowledge of the types of clothing that are currently in demand and use this to make informed decisions when buying and selling items. This has given me practical experience in running a small business, managing customers, understanding the market and generating profit.
I am also a DJ and produce my own music, which has helped me develop my creativity and confidence. In my free time, I enjoy camping and spending time outdoors.
I am hardworking, reliable and keen to learn, with experience working independently and as part of a team.
