Motivated and clinically grounded medical student with strong interests in anesthesiology and critical care, aspiring to pursue residency training and long-term practice in the United States. Currently preparing for a US clinical elective to broaden exposure to American healthcare and deepen understanding of perioperative and acute care medicine. Completed diverse clinical placements in anesthesiology, intensive care, pediatrics, and general medicine, gaining hands-on experience in patient assessment, airway management, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Actively involved in research, leadership, and simulation-based learning, with a focus on patient safety and critical care education. Eager to contribute meaningfully during the elective and to continue developing the clinical competence, adaptability, and professionalism essential to a future career in anesthesiology in the US.

Research Project on Alveolar Macrophages – University of Sheffield, September 2023

• Conducted a 6-week lab-based project investigating how buffer conditions affect the yield and viability of alveolar macrophages extracted via bronchoalveolar lavage in mice
• Responsible for experimental design, data collection, viability analysis, and presentation of findings

Clinical Audit on VTE Prophylaxis in Pediatric Intensive Care – Sheffield Children's Hospital, March 2025

• Performed a retrospective audit assessing adherence to venous thromboembolism (VTE) prophylaxis guidelines in a pediatric ICU

These experiences have strengthened my dedication to service, global health, and the broader impact of medicine beyond the clinical setting.
