Worked as both kitchen staff and serving staff, I gained experience serving and communicating with customers in a friendly and positive manner, I also enjoyed the sociable aspect to the job and I was able to work well in a team with my other coworkers. During my time off I'll pick up extra shifts. I'm used to fairly long hours and busy points during the day, as the cafe was fairly well known throughout the town; my shifts are usually 7 to 8 hours. I gained significant experience using machinery usually used in the job description (coffee machines, tills etc.), which would be useful if I was to be considered for this job.

Some of my responsibilities include:

• Operated electric appliances to cut, blend and mix foodstuffs.
• Refilled replenishables and chilled ingredients, recording out-of-stock items for re-ordering.
• Fulfilled personalised orders with speciality milk options, meeting strict dietary requirements.
• Packaged takeaway food for easy transport by customers or delivery drivers.
• Produced high-volume coffee orders quickly and accurately, meeting customer demand.
• Cleaned kitchen areas, food counters, and cooking utensils.
• Called out ready-to-go orders, checking customers' receipts to minimise errors.
• Maintained clean, organised cafe workspaces, enabling co-workers to readily locate required supplies.
• Washed and chopped raw ingredients to use in cold or cooked food items.
• Warmly greeted and served customers, promptly processing payments to minimise wait times.
• Managed peak cafe hours effectively, creating and delivering drinks swiftly to maintain efficient service.
• Maintained and operated espresso machines, blenders and commercial coffee brewers.
