I have recently proudly completed 30 years of service in policing, during which I have developed a deep commitment to public service, leadership, and community safety. My career has provided me with extensive experience in frontline response, investigations, crisis management, and strategic leadership, as well as a proven ability to adapt to the evolving demands of modern policing.
Throughout my service, I have held numerous roles working across diverse communities, building trust and fostering collaboration to achieve shared goals. I have led through high-pressure situations, demonstrating sound judgment, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. For the last 7 years I have been involved in the training and mentoring of newly recruited and probationary constables. Developing colleagues has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career, and I have taken pride in supporting the next generation of officers to succeed.
My policing career has given me a wealth of transferable skills: leadership, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and effective communication at all levels. I have consistently sought opportunities to improve processes, enhance community engagement, and ensure the highest professional standards.
As I now look toward the next chapter, I remain motivated by a strong sense of integrity, service, and the desire to make a positive impact. Whether contributing to community initiatives, security and risk management, or organisational leadership, I bring with me the experience, dedication, and values forged through a lifetime of public service.
