During the period of 2017 - 2024 (post retirement)I became a full time live in carer for my mother ultimately providing end of life care. during which time my day to day duties were as follows:

• Prepared nutritious meals, contributing to overall health improvement.
• Helped my mother manage appointments effectively thus reducing missed sessions.
• Managed medication for ensuring regular intake and preventing complications.
• Provided night-time support when needed
• Kept record progress, assisting in adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Provided companionship by engaging in stimulating conversations and activities.
• Facilitated communication with family members.

• Maintained clean streets by driving mini sweepers, gully wagon and main refuse collection vehicle as well as picking up litter and emptying public bins. Also operated high pressure water jetting machine.
• Improved efficiency and productivity by acquiring new skills i.e attending training courses and acquiring various qualifications such as COSHH, Manual Handling, First Aid and Confined Space
• Provided technical advice on appropriate methods of disposal or recycling, reducing harmful impacts on the environment.
• Delivered exceptional customer service by proactively listening to concerns and answering questions.
• Applied critical thinking to analyse problems, evaluate solutions and select best decisions.
• Supported team by demonstrating respect and willingness to help.
• Enhanced public health by enforcing proper sanitation practices in waste disposal areas.
