Enthusiastic Law Graduate who is looking to begin their career in the Scottish Legal Profession. I am hardworking, and keen to learn in order to be able to develop professional skills. I have a particular keen interest in Employment Law and Litigation, and I am keen to use the oral advocacy skills gained on my Diploma in a professional legal environment.
My role involves restocking the Fresh Foods Department. I am one of the colleagues responsible for carrying out the weekly stock counts for the department. However, I am also trained to work on the checkouts. This role has provided me with a level of responsibility, which I have relished. It has also enabled me to develop communication skills, whilst working in a fast paced working environment. My role has also taught me the importance of being adaptable. Often I have been asked to work in departments I am not trained on such as in Home Delivery, and Grocery. This experience has taught me how to problem solve, and use my own initiative in completing tasks.
From November 2016 to August 2017 I worked as a customer assistant in Sainsbury’s Muirend. This job involved communicating with customers by serving them on both the tills and self-checkouts. On top of these responsibilities, I was one of two colleagues in charge of the click and collect service in the store. This meant that as well as giving customers their parcels, I was responsible for ensuring parcels were booked into the online system correctly. This role provided me with leadership skills from a relatively young age and provided me with experience of dealing with difficult customers. I believe that these skills would be transferable to a legal environment.

Currently a member of Newlands Tennis Club I have been a member of the U16 and U18 teams as a junior and I have been a captain one of the Men's Summer league teams at the club, and one of the winter mixed teams.
This provided me with leadership experience, and an opportunity of leading people who were older than myself.
In the summer of 2016, I volunteered at the Junior Summer camps. This experience taught me the importance of having patience and being able to adapt my communication skills to people of different ages.
In 2019, I won the Dundee Local Tennis League. Competing in tennis has taught me the importance of being calm under pressure, and the importance of being mentally tough in difficult high pressure moments.
I am currently a member of Cowglen Golf Club. I have recently taken up the sport, and I enjoy playing whenever I can. I enjoy the challenge of golf, and the hard work and practice required at the driving range to improve.
