An accomplished signalling engineer, CEM/CRE licensed by the Institute of Railway Signalling Engineers (IRSE) with over 23 years of extensive expertise in managing the safe and efficient delivery of signalling capital expenditure renewals and enhancements for Network Rail within the Scotland route. Current holder of IRSE licences, including Senior Engineering Manager (Project Engineering) and Engineering Manager (Testing & Commissioning), I have been recognised for my contributions to the Scotland route, having been a finalist at the UK Rail Awards for Rail Engineer of the Year and Rail Manager of the Year and Network Rail Employee of the month, having previously lead and developed the Network Rail Scotland route signalling delivery team i have extensive experience in providing guidance to multi-disciplinary CREs across the supply chain, with a focus on ensuring the timely engineering compliant execution of signalling support and project delivery services. Additionally, I hold diverse certifications and qualifications in signalling / safety such as IRSE engineering licence, IRSE Workplace and Competence Assessor and signalling Tester/Mentor, FED designer, as well as IOSH certification demonstrating a comprehensive skill set across installation, testing, engineering, and maintenance whilst maintaining a safe by design approach to project delivery.
