• Scheduling in appropriate resources and equipment - This including all Safety Equipment required

Health & Safety Culture / Auditing

• Reviewing & Signing off RAMS prior to being sent to clients
• Ensuring all Risk have been mitigated with appropriate control measures.
• Carrying out Tool Box talks and ensuring the team fully understand the communications.
• Promoting Take 5s / pre-work assessments to review all control measures.
• Carrying out Safe Behavioural Audits onsite to ensure work methods are being followed, correct PPE being worn, Correct operating of Equipment.

● Line Manager to HGV Tanker Driver team.
● Schedule Safety Inspections / MOTs of vehicles
● Managing Defect Reports and archiving in accordance to Logistics UK Regulations
● Managing Vehicle maintenance records and archiving in accordance to Logistics UK Regulations
● Delivering Fleet Safety Bulletins / Tool Box Talks.
● Monitoring DriveTech system to ensure valid driving categories and valid current driving licenses , license endorsements.
● Able to manage available resources to maximize productivity and efficiency.
● Managing training needs for the Team, keeping Driver CPC in date.
● Managing Truck / Trailer leases , new hires and loan vehicles.
● Record driver working hours (working time)
● Check for Logistics UK HGV driving compliance e.g. infringements or missing data
● Managing Driver Hours compliance , completing driver de-briefs after infringements
● Carrying out ad hoc audits to ensure safety compliance
● Be involved in Fleet quarterly audits by Veolia Head Office
● Update records and system information (i.e. Tranman)
● Undertake periodic gate checks
● Arrange / undertake driving assessments as required
● Provide feedback to the team, raising close calls and delivering Tool Box talks., Conducting periodic team meetings.
● Ensure training and competency checks are in place for all roles
● Ensuring all compliance paperwork is archived correctly and available for 6 or 12 mth audits.
● Managing sickness absence inline with Veolia sickness policies

Operations Supervisor ( AVSE )

● Develop a high performing operation team by identifying and developing individuals through training and coaching and KPi's

● Ensuring correct mechanical isolation of plant onsite

• Managing Contractors onsite, Issuing Work Permits, Confined Space permits, Working at Height Permits. Conducting contractor audits and reporting this on Veolia Safety Culture System
  ● Managing Purchase Orders and ensuring end of year accounts are within Operations budget targets
