- During this experience I gained valuable insight into understanding the fast paced environment of the stock market, but also a broker's ability to understand the markets of their product.

- Shadowed the Marine & Energy Liability team at one of the Lloyd's market's leading syndicates. The team educated me on the wider impact/process of market cycles.
- It was fascinating to learn the thought process behind risk selection and analysis, the management of exposure and the balance of managing broker and client relationships, whilst maintaining pricing and profitability. I was also fortunate enough to experience some time through the broker's eyes meeting various other markets.
