Summary

Over my 9-year teaching career, I have honed strong skills in strategic planning, particularly in setting long-term goals that enhance student engagement and achievement in school sports and co-curricular activities. I have coached Rugby, Football, Cricket, and Strength & Conditioning at both educational and club level. Represented England Students at the Rugby League World Cup and played National One rugby for Bishop's Stortford RFC. Competed at the highest level of rugby sevens in the Super Series for Canterbury Nomads. Currently serving as a player-coach for Wanstead RFC at Level 6.


In leadership roles within Physical Education and whole-school programs, I have successfully built and maintained positive relationships with staff, overcoming challenges through effective teamwork and problem-solving. I’ve led large departments, organising and delivering successful programmes while fostering collaboration among colleagues. Recently Developing a whole-school initiative focused on future skills, creating schemes of work and teaching for Enterprise, Entrepreneurship, Advocacy, and Sustainability. Built partnerships with green schools initiatives and launched a Model UN program to enhance students' debating and public speaking skills in Key Stage 3.


I am highly experienced in financial management, overseeing budgets and resources to support large-scale programs. I ensure cost efficiency without compromising the quality of sports equipment, outdoor learning materials, or co-curricular activities.


Additionally, I have a proven track record in logistics management, coordinating events such as sports days and overseas tours for Football, Rugby and skiing, and ensuring smooth operations of co-curricular schedules. Organising sports events one of England’s largest independent day schools, overseeing daily sports options for over 800 students and managing over 25 weekend fixtures. Key responsibilities include coordinating transport, hospitality, and ensuring student engagement and enjoyment. Managing a team of over 50 staff members, I excel in communication, scheduling, and program delivery across multiple teams.


In operations management, I oversee the daily running of the Sport department and extracurricular activities, supporting both personal growth and academic success for students. My leadership experience has allowed me to create impactful learning opportunities, and I am passionate about continuing to do so in future roles. fostering a sport for all ethos as the driving force for success.
