Finn Smith

I have worked on a bar for 2 years helping me to learn all the skills required to be competent working in busy periods and being able to prepare the bar during quiet periods. My experience has also helped me read situations in a pub much better. This may be noticing people waiting to be served, or even if I sense I confrontation starting to begin. My time working behind a bar and in a restaurant has helped me learn how to deal with these situations appropriately. Outside of my work however I play guitar and sing in a band, meaning I often go to places where I socialise with people in a similar environment to where I work. This has helped me understand what customers may be thinking when they are waiting to be served or are unsure about something. Being in those environments has also made me a very sociable person and I love meeting new customers or talking to locals. I am a fast learner and a really hard worker and would give my all to demonstrate that if I was given an opportunity.
