    Catch 22: Dangoor Next Generation Programme - Iceland

    Selected as part of a group of 20 students from various regions across the UK, travelled to Reykjavik, Iceland for a 3 week expedition walking around 10 miles daily.

    Activities included scaling Mount Askja and Volcano Sellandafjall as well as adapting to independent group living for the duration of the trip.

    From this experience I was invited to St. James Palace to meet the donors and members of the charity and shook hands with royalty.

    4 year duration, I obtained the rank of Corporal.

    I learned marksman skills, weapon handling, punctuality, care for personal appearance as well as the history of the ACF.
