Tesco has been good so far my only issue is working the night shifts being understaffed I haven't really had to help customers unless I'm doing overtime on days but while on nights I've made sure the shop is faced up and looking nice and clean for the morning team but as this is only a part time role I'm not too happy with it.
This was a work experience role with The prince's trust where I spent two weeks doing front of house duties in a restaurant where I took part in tasks such as greeting guests, serving food, making drinks and making sure customers had an all around good experience from entering the restaurant.
This role was enjoyable at first but overtime came demanding and was not very enjoyable we did tasks such as travel which was good but I left the role due to not learning anything over the weeks I spent there and felt like this wasn't going to help me in the long run.
At Smyths toys I had a great experience with customers and helped in aiding customers who needed assistance with heavy boxes and products. Also gave out good descriptions of products so customers always know what they are getting in a product they purchase.
I was also taught how to work a customer service desk at Smyths toys which was really enjoyable interacting with new people and helping them in any way that I could.
My experience at Tesco was good at the time it was my first job I enjoyed the experience doing tasks as working at the register and stacking shelves, throughout my time at Tesco I provided positive customer experiences and attempted to help the brands reputation with positive and helpful services while always putting the customers first.
