Inclusion Lead / SENCO / DSL – Full Time

Windsor Academy Trust
2025.07 - 2026.04
  • Our Hive SEMH Provision, Windsor Academy Trust.
  • As Inclusion Lead, I manage 6-12 week placements for KS1 children, focusing on successful reintegration into mainstream schools. This involves working closely with stakeholders such as families, schools and the Local Authority. I consult with SENCOs and headteachers, helping them to adapt their environments for children with the most complex SEMH needs.
  • In my SENCO role, I enjoy working as part of a team developing trust wide initiatives for SEND provision. I led a project to analyse tools for identification and diagnostic pathways across 15 primary & secondary schools across the Windsor Academy Trust.
  • As Designated Safeguarding Lead, I manage complex caseloads and multi-agency partnerships with a trauma-informed lens, ensuring that robust, statutory safeguarding frameworks underpin every stage of a child’s 6–12 week placement and subsequent reintegration into mainstream education.

Primary School Teacher – Full Time

Windsor Academy Trust
2019.09 - 2025.07
  • Colley Lane Primary Academy, Windsor Academy Trust.
  • I have experience teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Having been recognised as an excellent classroom practitioner, I have formed part of the Instructional Coaching team to develop quality first teaching throughout the school. This involves leading weekly drop in and coaching meetings with teachers, ECTs and HLTAs.
  • As Civic Lead, I worked with schools within the Windsor Academy Trust to enhance student and parental engagement with their school and wider community. In doing so, I organised numerous charity days, invited regional companies into school for focus days and workshops, and reignited the School Senate, who have had a purposeful impact on school life.
  • In this time, I was the subject lead for Religious Education. I remapped the curriculum and built strong relationships with local religious and cultural centres.
  • In my role as a school Governor, I represented staff voice and acted as a critical friend to better the school community.

TEFL Teacher and Activity Leader – Part Time

Hello! Exmouth Language School
2017.06 - 2019.08
  • I oversaw English language teaching for European students aged 11-19, ensuring effective learning outcomes.
  • I conducted initial assessments and continuous progress monitoring to enhance student performance.
  • I championed British values and integration within a multicultural classroom during British Council inspection.
  • I utilised technology in lessons, enhancing student interaction and engagement.
