I am a motivated and ambitious Physiotherapy student with experience in leadership, healthcare environments, and customer service. Alongside my studies, I work as a shift leader at McDonald's, where I have developed strong skills in team leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organisation. My healthcare experience includes work experience at a doctor's surgery observing patient appointments, spending time with paramedics to gain insight into emergency care, and working in a pharmacy assisting with prescription preparation and updating patient information on digital systems.
I am passionate about helping others and promoting health and wellbeing, which has inspired my pursuit of a career in physiotherapy. Outside of work and study, I enjoy long countryside walks, fundraising for charitable causes through fun runs, and independent travel. I also have a keen interest in languages and cultures, particularly Turkish and Spanish, and enjoy watching foreign-language films as a way of improving my language skills and broadening my cultural understanding.
From 2014 to 2020, I took up Taekwondo which is mixed martial arts, progressing through multiple belt grades and competing regularly. In my final two years there, I assisted in teaching and mentoring younger students, helping them develop their skills, confidence, and discipline. These experiences strengthened my leadership, patience, and communication abilities.
