Originally starting off in the stores and warehouse as a storeman , after 3 years progressed onto a Production Operator role and then finishing up as a Shift Team Manager running a smokeless fuel process.

Shift work and managing a small group of operators manufacturing fuels to supply the domestic markets of the uk as well as the continent . achieving high standards and quality control . Making sure the workplace is safe and maintaining good housekeeping across the factory floor . Making sure the plant runs smoothly and efficiently . writing permits and auditing as well as making equipment safe to work on .

Working under demands and deadlines that the company requires.

Control room and MCC electrical tasks carried out every shift .

Working with Heavy plant machinery , such as Loading shovels , Bobcat skid-steer and Forklift trucks . As well as overhead cranes and Lifting equipment .

Began working at a very busy Plant hire company in the parts department . controlling stocks and looking after service vehicles making sure all had suitable parts and consumables for rapid repair work to plant and machinery on any given site.

Organising stock takes and maintaining British Standards achieved with the company . Ordering parts from the continent and issuing back to the workshop and customer based clients . Managing the P&L account , making sure the department was profitable and sustainable

Started working career in the motor industry from school for a ford retail dealership , controlling the parts department , administering parts for the workshop and bodyshop as well as customer counter . Regular stock checks and control through computer systems . general housekeeping and good safety practices adhered .
