As of October 2022, I have been employed by Grosvenor Casinos, as a croupier at Merchant City Casinos. My daily duties involve basic customer service, handling large sums of money, the operation of table games such as Blackjack, Roulette and more, as well as on occasion the cleaning and maintenance of casino equipment such as roulette wheels and card shufflers and the management of money boxes from electronic slot machines. Along with my daily operations and due to my extensive IT knowledge, on occasion I will also be called upon for the maintenance of the software running the billboards located at gaming tables or any other miscellaneous tech issues.
Between May of 2022 and October of 22, I was employed through Parkdean Resorts as a Linen Assistant. My daily duties involve the management of linen deliveries, including packing and storage, as well as the creation of linen packs, delivery of linen packs, collection of used linen and providing ongoing support to our team of housekeepers as and when needed.
After leaving Hytitude Networks, I moved into freelance Minecraft Server development. I designed, developed, and optimized custom Minecraft servers across various platforms, including Spigot, Paper, Forge, and Fabric. I configured and integrated pre-existing plugins and mods while developing custom Java plugins and modded content to meet unique gameplay and administrative requirements. I also focused on server performance, stability, and security through troubleshooting, optimization, and resource management. As well as working closely with clients to understand their vision, implement tailored features, and ensure a seamless multiplayer experience and provided ongoing support, updates, and improvements to adapt to evolving server needs and player feedback.
From November of 2021 to May of 2022, I was employed by Parkdean Resorts as a Maintenance Assistant. My daily duties involved a wide variety of things surrounding the general maintenance of the park, including but not limited to upkeep of park services and caravans, basic repairs and repainting of caravans and lodges and upkeep of the outdoor area of the park.
During the months of October to December 2018, I was employees with Hytitude Networks as a Lead Server Developer. I led the development and implementation of a custom Minecraft server, building its plugin infrastructure from the ground up using the PaperSpigot platform. I Integrated and configured a range of pre-existing plugins to enhance server functionality while also developing custom Java plugins tailored to specific gameplay and administrative needs. I also focused on optimizing server performance, stability, and security through efficient coding practices, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements, As well as collaborating with team members to refine gameplay mechanics, ensure smooth player experiences, and maintain server reliability.
For several months in 2018, I volunteered as a Lead Technical Support Agent for a now-defunct hosting company called Instant Products. My daily duties involved a wide range of technical and support tasks, such as providing technical support to customers via Live Chat and Tickets, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving hosting-related issues, Configuring and maintaining Virtual Private Servers (VPS) running Windows and Linux, ensuring optimal performance and reliability and diagnosing and resolved server-related problems, delivering efficient and effective solutions to customer inquiries.
