Work history

Bar Supervisor

SWG3
Glasgow
2023.10 - 2026.07

I work as a Bar Supervisor at SWG3, overseeing bar operations during live music, corporate, and large-scale outdoor events. I manage teams of approximately 15 staff during events with attendances of over 1,500 people, ensuring the bar operates efficiently, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and delivers excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

I supervise staff performance, coordinate day-to-day operations, resolve customer complaints, and respond quickly to operational issues to ensure events run smoothly. I regularly liaise with event promoters, artists, and internal departments to coordinate event requirements and ensure seamless event delivery. I am also responsible for managing artists' hospitality requirements, maintaining professional relationships with performers and their management teams, and ensuring all backstage requests are met to a high standard.

Through my role at both live music and corporate events, I have built and maintained strong professional relationships with promoters, artists, clients, contractors, and colleagues. I also work as a Floor Manager for selected events, coordinating teams across the venue, supporting event operations, and ensuring effective communication between departments while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety.

During SWG3's summer Yard Shows, which attract crowds of over 5,000 attendees and a team of almost 50 staff, I help oversee large-scale bar operations and contribute to the successful delivery of high-capacity events, demonstrating strong leadership, organisation, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Customer Services Officer

NG2
2025.10 - 2026.07
  • I work as a Customer Service Officer for a housing association, acting as the first point of contact for tenants regarding housing repairs, maintenance issues, and general enquiries. I log and monitor repair requests, coordinate with contractors and internal teams, and ensure issues are resolved within agreed service standards. Alongside this, I carry out administrative duties such as updating housing management systems, managing appointments, and maintaining accurate records, while consistently delivering professional and empathetic customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Barman/Waiter

La Vita Spuntini
Glasgow
2023.06 - 2023.10
  • At La Vita Spuntini I learnt an extensive cocktail menu while also taking 'trust' and 'Guest Request' cocktails helping me increase my mental capabilities in the workplace mainly training my memory and widening my mixology skills learning how to pair different flavours with spirits to achieve a plentiful taste matching the customers' needs. I also ran different sections as a waiter as I was also still a fully trained waiter that could handle massive lunch and dinner rushes without cracking under pressure while still offering excellent service with a smile and proper etiquette.

Barman/Waiter

La Vita George Square
Glasgow
2022.06 - 2022.12
  • I worked as a waiter and bartender in a high-paced restaurant located on the corner of St George’s Square, delivering efficient and friendly service in a busy, high-pressure environment. My role involved waiting tables, preparing cocktails and drinks to a high standard, handling payments, and ensuring a positive dining experience for customers. I developed strong multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills while maintaining accuracy, speed, and professionalism during peak service times.
