As an Engineering Duty Manager at London Stansted Airport, I lead high‑performing technical teams in one of the UK's most complex and safety‑critical operational environments. With a foundation in electrical engineering and over two decades of experience across airport systems, electrotechnical technology, and safety‑driven operations, I specialise in creating stable, resilient engineering performance through strong leadership, effective decision‑making, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
I bring a leadership style rooted in clarity, accountability, and calm under pressure, ensuring my teams can operate confidently and efficiently across essential infrastructure. My qualifications—spanning Radiation Protection Supervision, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, IOSH Managing Safely, and multiple OEM technical certifications—equip me to manage both people and processes with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Throughout my career, I have developed a reputation for:
Beyond my core role, I have a long-standing commitment to service and community leadership through St John Ambulance, where I have contributed for over 20 years in emergency response, operational leadership, and event management. I also bring governance and strategic oversight experience as the Vice Chair of a Local Governing Board of a local primary school and leadership capability through my Group Lead Volunteer role within the Scout Association. These experiences reinforce my ability to lead diverse teams, manage people development, and influence organisational progress.
