Associate Director for Patient Safety and Safeguarding with solid leadership skills in achieving significant improvements and change to safeguarding and patient safety systems and processes . This past year has seen significant improvements in safeguarding communications and training opportunities for all staff and availability of safeguarding supervision for all, raising the profile of safeguarding child and adult patients and making safeguarding everyone's responsibility Trust wide.
In 2019, I was shortlisted as a finalist for an RCNI award. This nomination was in recognition of my strong leadership in Safeguarding and keeping our patients at the heart of multi agency safeguarding approaches. The award was inclusive of a nomination as a finalist for the RCNI Nurse of the Year.
In 2022, I was awarded a Safeguarding Star Award by the Safeguarding Adults National Network, chaired by NHS England Safeguarding.
