An adaptable and organised professional with experience as an Executive Assistant, alongside a strong understanding of business change, project governance, and controls. Currently seconded into the Civils Team, where I support the Civils Project Manager and wider team, gaining hands-on experience in the delivery of site-based projects and continuing to develop my project management skills.

I support projects by preparing work packs, maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating activities, and working closely with team members, site staff, and contractors to ensure work progresses smoothly. I have been involved in a range of projects, including site infrastructure upgrades, and am gaining experience in planning and developing key project documents such as Statements of Requirement and RAMS.

I also bring experience in procurement, working with suppliers, and engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Having previously managed staff, I enjoy supporting others to work effectively and achieve their goals. I communicate clearly, build strong working relationships, and remain calm and focused in busy environments. Secondment to the Dounreay Site Civils Team

Since joining the Civils Team, I have been actively supporting the delivery of site-based projects by preparing work packs and completing key project documentation, including RAMS and Statements of Requirements. I regularly go out on site to identify and better understand job requirements, ensuring work is practical and aligned with project needs. I work closely with Civils Team members, Dounreay staff, and contractors, helping to coordinate activities and keep work progressing. I have also achieved my Temporary Works Coordinator qualification, further strengthening my understanding of safe project delivery. Through this, I have gained hands-on experience across a range of projects, developed strong working relationships, and built a solid understanding of how projects are delivered safely and effectively on site.

  • Managed the smooth and effective running of The Reception and Travel Area on the Dounreay Site. Scope I was responsible for included: Home to Work Travel (Bus Travel), Reception, Main Travel Office and Hire Cars.
  • Liaise with commercial and external stakeholders on the delivery and progress of the Travel contracts. i.e: Stagecoach, Enterprise, Click Travel Contract.
  • Main point of contact between senior staff and employees, communicating messages to the wider team. Monitoring productivity, ensuring relevant training was provided and created a positive working culture with colleague's.
  • Gather and collate Travel/Finance/Reception statistics, and data to be presented to Auditors whilst keeping it secure through company standard procedures.
