Lead nurse role(2024 - current):

• Leading the nurses, being their port of call for any issues or questions
• Ensuring all nurses are compliant with all regulations
• Making sure all surgeries are kept clean, regularly deep cleaned and stock dates checked

• Regularly undertaking checks on the ultrasonics and downloading the autoclave logs

Nurse role:

• Preparing and maintaining the dental equipment, instruments and materials within a dental surgery
• Setting and nursing up for a variety of surgical treatments including implants, surgical extractions, sinus lifts and gum grafts with the guidance from the dentist
• Carrying out infection control and decontamination procedures
• Recording dental charting and perio charting carried out by clinicians using Dentally
• Processing digital X-rays
• Setting up and nursing for a number of private treatments
• Ensuring the lab work is back within the required timeframe
• Preparing, mixing and handling dental materials
• Providing chair-side support to dentists, therapists, and hygienists throughout a range of specialist dental procedures
• Providing support and empathy towards patients
• Making sure the surgery is stocked, thoroughly cleaned, and disinfected in between each patient
