I took part in the Prince’s Trust program (now The King's Trust Program) I learned new skills and gained confidence in myself. Through this program, I secured a job at Beefeater in Ruislip/Uxbridge and also won the Jack Petchey Award for overcoming personal challenges and putting in effort. During the course, we organized a bake sale fundraiser and raised £365.80 for an elderly care home, and even took the residents out for a meal. Overall, I learned how to communicate better and work effectively in a team, rather than just relying on myself and staying in my comfort zone.
