  • Company Overview: Warringtonfire offers a comprehensive range of impartial and independent fire safety services, including testing, inspection and certification.
  • My role within the construction department of the Build Environment sector is in the Fire Resistance department, looking after a portfolio of top spending customers, managing the accounts to ensure the accounts are developed, maintained and spend year on year across all sectors of the business.
  • I also act as the point of contact for any new customers ensuring their enquiry is taken from the start of the process, through to placing an order, these can often be complex projects that need to be managed and co-ordinated with several different areas of the business.
  • During my time at Warringtonfire I have worked within Reaction to Fire, Smoke and acoustic, Hardware, doors and windows, automotive and Certification, but I have been focused on Fire resistance since 2019.
  • Responsibilities include:
  • Responding to incoming enquiries, managing them from the enquiry stage to closure
  • Providing customers with basic technical support on Fire Resistance testing enquiries, gathering the required information to be able to progress to the quoting stage.
  • Achieve sales targets and financial metrics according to the department plan.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Portfolio accounts and manage SLA’s if in place.
  • Manage new customers, existing customers, lapsed customers.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and develop spend with Certification services.
  • Participate in Customer visits, Open Days and work with other organisations hosting events at Warringtonfire, such as trade associations
