I have worked an ophthalmic day care theatre unit and also a orthopaedic outpatient department as Bank Health Care Assistant.

From November 2015 to present Ophthalmic nursing care in pre-op and post op care, measuring visual acuities, checking eye pressures and administering medication as required. Also working on the acute emergency ophthalmic clinic.

From January 2014 until November 2015 I worked as a bank nurse 3 days a week on a clinical investigation unit.
My duties included venepuncture and cannulation, care of central and PICC lines, venesections, blood transfusions and administering lral and intravenous therapies.

Site manager and practitioner of both Chorley Hospital and Royal Preston Hospital.
Practitioner duties were to assess patients on the ward and perform venepuncture, cannulation, ECGs and interpret results, liaising with the medical team and panning and administration treatment as necessary.
I was also part of the cardiac arrest team and was an advanced life support provider for 15 years.
A large part of my role was to ensure adequate staffing on each ward and support of all staff on site.
My role also included being bed manager for my shift.
