alongside working for a tiling company I completed independent work for friends/ family and people who know about my work from word of mouth. I have always received positive feedback and my customers have gone on to recommend me to their friends. As I am doing my now private for their is a lot of more responsibility that comes this this showing I can handle high pressure situations and responsibilities ,because if the customer is not happy with the result or anything goes wrong there is only me at fault. I also have to provide the materials needed for the job myself and make precise calculations to determine what is needed so I don't have wastage at the end of the job supporting my efficiency. at the end of the job I have to create an invoice for the customer showing my professionalism when working and how I can work with numbers efficiently.

Started career in tiling with a professional company after completing college.

• my work was no longer supervised as I can now deliver high-quality craftsmanship in all my tasks I undertake after my training
• I started doing site work so I had to adhere to safety regulations so I was in a safe working environment and I managed to time effectively complete work including tiling kitchens, floors an bathrooms.
• Also I learnt to repair tiles without causing damage to underlying structures , prepared surfaces to create a level finish and secured client satisfaction by understanding project briefs and meeting deadlines.

• Performed strenuous physical activities such as heavy lifting in adverse conditions.
• Demonstrated excellent teamwork skills whilst carrying out manual tasks.
• Performed daily equipment checks ensuring machinery was always in good condition.
• Safely and responsibly transported construction supplies to relevant locations, aiding effective, efficient labouring operations.
• Cleaned up sites after shifts, organising tools and securing supplies in designated storage units.

Developed essential skills and knowledge through a structured college apprenticeship in a professional setting

• gained my first knowledge on tilling and learnt a lot from my trainer.
• I was accompanied during most of my work in this time period as I was learning all about tiling techniques to enhance durability, manage inventory to avoid wastage of materials and demonstrate high quality tiling
• we did mainly of domestic work doing bathrooms and floors.
