I am versatile and experienced in special events, customer service and and I am familiar with fine dining environments. I've worked across food preparation, bar and table service, and event set up, and I'm comfortable using sales techniques and electronic ordering systems. I also have experience supporting exhibitions and gallery marketing, including picture framing, working with artists, and making visual and aesthetic decisions. I'm committed to creative growth through performance training, with a focus on managing performance anxiety, understanding body language, and expressive movement. I am to bring my dance background and movement skills into future creative projects.
Working for The Greedy Vegan food truck. I am responsible for all aspects of food preparation, along with cooking and serving the food and beverages. I also provided high-quality efficient table service at different venues, events and festivals. I am confident in working as part of a team. These skills are easily transferable and they have given me strong customer service skills, that would fit well in cafes, restaurants or retail. Plus, I'm really confident and comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
I worked as a part time waitress at The Vine Pub. I was responsible for table service, taking orders .and managed multiple tables/areas at once, clearing and resetting the tables. I stayed up date on the daily specials and any menu changes so I could always give customers good description and recommendations. I also handled payments and made sure it was a friendly and welcoming place for the customer. It was a great way to build up my multi tasking and people skills.
I worked part-time at East Art Gallery in London where I helped hang artwork for new shows, assisted with admin tasks, social media posts, keeping the inventory up to date and making sure the gallery was organised and welcoming for the customers.
Whilst I was attending Saffron Walden County high school I was lucky enough to be chosen by my teachers to take part in the Brilliant club, where I took a course on Art History and then wrote an essay for Cambridge University and I attained a 2:1.
