Since starting psychology studies in 2022, my passion for the subject has grown immensely. I aspire to pursue a career in psychotherapy, child counselling, or social psychology. My primary interests lie in understanding behavioural and emotional patterns related to mental health conditions and everyday interactions. I believe psychology is crucial in today's culture and aim to pursue a successful career in this field. My studies have equipped me with critical thinking, time management, communication skills, therapeutic, research and analytical techniques, all essential for my chosen career path. Personal experiences such as volunteering at a care home and babysitting a child with autism, have fueled my interest in understanding behaviour and cognition. I'm described as hardworking and compassionate, with a track record of involvement in charitable activities such as fundraisers and "Race for Life". I see the opportunity to work in the healthcare sector as a way to further develop my skills and knowledge in patient care regarding psychotherapy and counselling.
