Summary

Essentially in all my working career I have worked with people whether they have been termed as service users or customers. This has afforded me with over 20 years of experience in dealing with people and has honed in my listening skills, empathy and tenacity in getting to the heart of the matter when dealing with people. I have in the last three years been working in HEI, I am usually the first point of call for prospective and current students, their parents, academics and other colleagues


I have strong organizational skills my areas of knowledge includes growing service user relationships. I am able to learn new tasks quickly and represent an organisation in a friendly and professional manner.

  • I am responsible for providing an excellent customer service to students; assisting with front line queries; answering telephone calls and responding to emails in a timely manner and primarily support the Disability & Mental Health Team, Inter faith and Counselling Service.


  • I prepare and give information about the Wellbeing Service, signpost to other relevant support services at the University, and where necessary referring cases to appropriate external agencies when required.


  • I advise students about specialist drop-in sessions, signpost to the Student Hub booking system and book student appointments when necessary.


  • I provide a customer focused and informative service to potential students and parents during open days and at general recruitment and enrolment events and proactively contact new and potential students who have declared a disability to inform them of support available from the Wellbeing Service.
