I worked in a fast-paced environment during the Christmas period, providing excellent customer service in multiple different departments such as Gifts, Beauty, Shoes and Ladies Fashion which really helped to widen my knowledge on so many different products. Responsibilities included processing sales and refunds, handling cash and card payments accurately and assisting customers with queries and product selections. I developed strong communication, teamwork and time-management skills whilst working under pressure during peak trading hours. I also gained experience in cash handling, POS systems and maintaining high service standards. I also learned how to do mobile payments which was a skill I found really beneficial during my time at John Lewis.
