  • My role at iRock is to be cover support to make sure all lessons go ahead as planned if someone is sick or on leave. This can be very last minute or scheduled ahead of time depending on operational needs.
  • I travel all over England and Wales to maintain high standards of teaching whilst creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for the children.
  • In this role I have to have excellent time management, strong organisational skills and planning due to last minute lesson plans and travel logistics, as well as a strong relationship with management.

Bass player

  • Whilst working with P&O I held two positions as Bass player, the first at Gary Barlow's 710 club. This venue was a late night club in which we would take popular songs and rearrange them into a more jazzy style. This involved improvisation skills as well as a strong ear to follow on the spot changes or requests from the audience.
  • My second position was for the Pulse band. A sight reading gig in which we performed different themes each night over a two week cruise.
  • In the Pulse band I also backed guest entertainers. Working closely with them to insure the highest quality of entertainment and backing for them.
  • During my spare hours I studied music theory and sight reading extensively to improve my understanding and my performance skills whilst reading.
  • Maintained professional relationships within the music industry, leading to more opportunities.

  • My Role onboard NCL was performing on Bass at Syd Norman's Pourhouse.
  • I performed five different shows based around classic rock as well as a complete Fleetwood Mac show.
  • I have held Captains position for these shows which involved reviewing each shows performance with written statement and making sure that each show was of the highest quality. This included working closely with each musician to give notes and to work closely with the show captain, managers and Director to keep everything to the best standards and also to take care of anything the musicians or shows may need.

  • My role at iRock was to provide the best and most engaging teaching experience for children aged 4-11.
  • I would travel to different schools throughout the week bringing an exciting real life band experience.
  • My role was to teach the children how to work together whilst also learning valuable instrument skills as well as team building.
  • This role also involved corresponding with parents to review the children's progress and to monitor this progress to adjust lessons as necessary to insure the optimum learning experience and progression.

  • I would help to organise events, talk with and entertain the guests as well as build strong relationships with the executive committee
