NIBSS eBillsPay Collection Platform Deployment Project at FirstBank (2013):

  • I supervised a team of 4 to deploy the NIBSS eBillsPay collection solution on the FirstBank network.
  • Orchestrated collaboration among diverse stakeholders at First Bank to implement the NIBSS eBillsPay Application in 2013
  • Ensured seamless onboarding for the pioneer customer, the Lagos State Government.
  • Provided hands-on support to branches and fostered user adaptation
  • Achieved a transaction volume of approximately sixty-two million naira in the inaugural month and this increased as more corporate clients were added to the platform
  • Expanded the platform's reach to serve 300 customers by February 2023.
  • Platform garnered widespread acceptance among corporate clients in the banking industry.
  • The deployment of successful integration, seamless functionality, and robust complaints resolution significantly enhanced the platform's value, making it a preferred collection solution for corporate entities. This was evident through its broad adoption across the industry.

MicroFinance Banks Collection Solution Deployment via FirstBank branch network nationwide

  • Collaborated with a Fintech company in 2014 to develop and implement an account-based collection solution.
  • The solution enabled Microfinance Banks (MFBs) associated with FirstBank to receive funds through over 850 FirstBank branch outlets nationwide.
  • Overcame geographical constraints for MFBs and incorporated an advanced audit trail for reconciliation.
  • Initially deployed with two MFBs, the solution saw widespread adoption, utilized by over 80 MFBs within the first two years.

Team Lead Duties: 

  • Held dual roles between 2021 and 2022 as Regional Head of Transaction Banking Sales Unit and Team Lead for Key Distributorship Finance (KDF) Desk at FirstBank.
  • Oversaw operations in Lagos and expanded profiled Principals with recurring monthly KDF facilities from 7 to 11.
  • Under my leadership, monthly loan values approved for Key Distributors increased from two billion naira to approximately four billion, two hundred million by February 2023.
  • Ensured commendable zero level of Non-Performing Loans (NPL) by monitoring facilities extended to Key Distributors.
  • Demonstrated dedication to effective management, strategic growth, and financial health within Key Distributorship Finance framework.
