My career as a qualified Optometrist spans nearly four decades, with the last 30 years dedicated to the success of my own businesses. In 2005, I established a boutique practice focused on top-quality eye care and unique eyewear offerings. I've collaborated with professional athletes across various sports to optimise their performance and built networks of Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, fostering best-in-class patient experiences within my own practice.
Spent 6 years as a Governor at my children's Primary school, the last 3 as Chair of Finance, during a time of fiscal difficulties within the education system. I also served as Treasurer for Avon LOC 1994 -98.
Having recently sold my practice, I'm keen to leverage my knowledge and experience to support similar businesses focused on quality care.
Outside of work, I remain active in cricket and golf and am an avid Arsenal supporter.
