Summary

I am a caring and supportive person committed to creating motivating and inspiring learning environments. Being a creative, innovative and approachable person, I use art and music to engage students.

I am an energetic and empathetic individual with desire to gain work experience and learn from teaching staff. Eager to help children understand and engage with creative curriculum. I use communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with both students and parents.

I am an accomplished teaching professional with extensive experience developing Key Stage 2 pupils. Enhanced educational, social and emotional growth through strategic lesson planning and delivery in line with the UK National Curriculum. I have guided students with compassion and care for positive learning outcomes. My experience ranges from year 3 classes all the way up to year 6 with some combined year groups.

I have coordinated a range of subjects, but my present area of expertise can be found in art and music. In the past, I have been responsible for science, design technology, environmental studies, religious education, physical education, history and mathematics.

My focus is always on the children and what they need to develop. Every day is a different day and I enjoy the interactions I have with my class and with the children who have moved on beyond year 3. It's always gratifying to hear about outside achievements and career development. Some of which are outstanding.
