As a teacher's assistant, my role is to predominantly provide 1-1 support to specific students. I also assist with the day-to-day routines and lesson transitions. Furthermore, I:

• Provided emotional support during challenging situations; modelling resilience in pupils.
• Committed to visual aids during lessons; supported better information retention.
• Prioritised pupil safety during swim trips; minimised risk of accidents.

The Fresh Air Fund's goal is to improve the opportunities of New York City's underserved communities. Offering youth free access to outdoor programs and year-round development programs.

I supervised a team of 10-12 staff at a career awareness summer camp. I guided them in developing classroom goals, conducted ongoing staff training, and ensured that they had the resources needed to deliver high-quality programs. In addition to overseeing the team, I also provided direct coverage for classes whenever a staff member was unavailable, maintaining continuity and quality of instruction for students.

I helped to maintain a supportive, inclusive atmosphere while overseeing group routines and coordinating with team members.

I delivered one-to-one support as a teaching assistant for students on the autism spectrum, providing tailored emotional regulation support during challenging situations. Facilitated targeted literacy and numeracy interventions to improve core skills and student confidence.

This required me to collaborate with educators and specialists to tailor learning strategies.

As a program specialist, I designed and led four periods a day of career awareness activities for the summer camp. I specialised in filmmaking and media production, presenting a new career path to youth who may not have considered it previously.

I was there to promote team-building and support youth development in a residential setting. Widening the range of what is possible in career paths.

Served as a camp counsellor, creating a safe and inclusive environment for campers. Aided in daily activities, including campfires and creative workshops, while mentoring youth, fostering confidence, and encouraging personal growth.
