Summary

I am a dedicated and passionate individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. I have experience liaising with outside agencies and completing referral forms for children in my care which I then monitor to ensure that they receive the help and support needed. I am a key person to a group of children and I keep my observations and assessments up to date to enable me to achieve the best outcomes for those children and identify any gaps in their development which require extra support. I ensure that I follow all policies and procedures, especially safeguarding and confidentiality by adhering to parents requests, for example not sharing their children on social media or other children’s observations where they will be seen by other individuals. I often respond to telephone queries from parents and do my best to provide them with the information they need or I find out the relevant information and feed it back to them. I support my colleagues by sharing my skills and knowledge and undertake training courses to keep my knowledge up to date to enable me to do my job to the best of my ability.
