- This role involved working in a team and own initiative overseeing mortgage applications from start to finish and completing a varied assortment of tasks pertaining to them including intricate detail
- Case worked on approximately 250 mortgage applications per day
- Responsibilities included liaising with lenders, consultants and clients to ensure a smooth process .
- The quantity of different procedures had a requirement to learn quickly and adapt to a variety of situations and use dynamic initiative
- This role demanded a close eye for detail as the documents had to corroborate the others submitted for the application, I would have to notice any discrepancies and get them amended promptly
- Phone etiquette and customer service skills were necessary when dealing with lenders and clients , on average was making approximately 15 phone calls per day to clients and lenders
- I worked towards regular deadlines here, as the tasks allocated would have to be worked within two days to stay on target
- I developed my own methods of working efficiently while still being effective and operating within guidelines
- The role also required computer literacy as I had to use the company’s own proprietary computer software, which I quickly understood and was happy to aid others with
