General Pediatrics & neonatology : Currently, more than 2 years of NHS experience, 9 years as Assistant consultant in a tertiary hospital, 25 years as a staff physician at a regional hospital, 3 years SHO level in a teaching hospital
Over the years I developed a logical and systemic approach to the management of sick children with various acute presentations including DKA, Convulsion ,Asthma , shook, meningitis, malaria, lower respiratory tract infections, diarrheal diseases with severe dehydration
Additionally , competent in neonatal resuscitation and dealing with different critical care neonatal cases
I became competent in performing all various pediatric procedures including IV access, IO insertions, NG tubes, and lumbar punctures I also gained the skills and experience to run general pediatrics outpatient clinics looking after children with various degrees of medical complexity
Gastroenterology:Along my previous job at King Abdullah Specialized Children’s Hospital in KSA from 2013 till 2022, I was covering pediatric gastroenterology service
with very good skills in endoscopy I gained excellent experience in running outpatient clinics and management of various chronic gastrointestinal problems with minimal consultant supervision
