I am a confident, articulate Area SENDCo. I have worked in an advisory capacity since early 2025 and led SEND provision in a large, Lambeth primary school as part of the SLT since 2014. I am hardworking, and a committed advocate for the young people and families with whom I work. I am supportive of colleagues within my own team, in schools and in the LA. I have developed good working relationships with a wide range of colleagues across Lambeth and benefit from collaborative working and opportunities to share knowledge and expertise. I am a thoughtful, confident and competent leader and continue to offer advice to ensure that classroom practice across the LA is inclusive, makes use of the graduated approach, ensures early intervention, and centres on a multi-disciplinary approach. I conduct observations, offer advice and practical support to SENcos and SLTs, deliver training and liaise with inclusion colleagues from across the directory in order to ensure improved outcomes for children and young people with SEND. I embrace challenges and have strong communication and organisation skills. I am passionate about my work, and have the experience and knowledge to develop my advisory and supportive role by once again taking on a leadership responsibility.
