I am creative person who thrives on making positive connections and embraces challenges. My primary professional background is working as a creative photographer and photo editor, as well as documentary photographer and videographer. I have also had enriching and rewarding experiences supporting people who have experienced mental health and substance use issues. This is an area of work I would like to develop my practice in, and I feel I have some good experience and a positive outlook to develop further in this sector. I would also like to add I am a friendly, and dedicated person who has a strong work ethic, and believes fully in a person-centred, I also thrive in and very much enjoy being a team player.

I am currently doing some work for a charity based in Hounslow, where I am working as both support worker and translator for asylum seekers and refugees. I work with both adults, children, and families, and liaise with professionals such as social workers, project workers, police, and the wider community to offer a clear and concise communication line as well as being an active listener and offering people support around their needs.
I am currently working at a complex needs hostel in Westminster, facilitating photography workshops each week. In this rewarding role, I have enjoyed working with individuals who are experiencing mental health and substance use issues and seeing the positive impact that the sessions are having when people attend. I have also learned a lot about the homelessness pathway, and the challenges that people face, and I would like to continue my development and work in this sector.

As a documentary photographer my main expert is in researching and identifying subjects and topics for documentary projects, Conducting interviews and gathering information to understand the story and context, planning and organizing shoots to capture the desired images. Post-processing and editing images and video to enhance their visual impact and storytelling. In this rewarding and challenging role, I worked on the streets of Tehran, engaging the many streets homeless clients including children, supporting them to access housing and also supporting them around their mental health and substance use issues. I learned a great deal about the difficulties that led people to become homeless and the challenges of how to work with addiction, mental health, and child labour.
My main job in this role was Managing the Mayor's schedule, appointments, and meetings.

Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone call. Supervising administrative staff, if applicable, and delegating tasks as necessary.
