In this role, I provide effective and responsive support for AV equipment loans to staff and students, ensuring alignment with departmental service level agreements (SLAs). I assist in delivering training and induction sessions to help staff and students confidently use AV equipment. Additionally, I offer technical advice and guidance on selecting, operating, and utilizing AV equipment, following the direction of the AV Services Team Leader.A key aspect of my role is managing the AV Loans service, which involves electronically tracking and recording equipment loans, conducting regular stock checks, and reconciling these with the Asset Register, escalating any discrepancies as needed. I am responsible for maintaining and repairing AV equipment and ensuring that the ITMS Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and AV Loans Database are consistently accurate and up-to-date. In addition to these technical duties, I actively contribute to creating engaging and inspirational content for social media platforms. This includes showcasing the latest technology and business activities. By sharing these stories, we aim to inspire creativity among the student community, promote awareness of the resources available, and demonstrate the practical applications of AV technology in various fields.
