Experiences

I would love to work for Phoenix Futures as the positions sounds really interesting and something that I would love to do and feel I could thrive at. I want to make a difference to prople who are struggling in their lives and need care and support.I have vast experience in working and dealing with children and young adults from different backgrounds and some of whom have suffered a great deal of trauma. I have worked with children who have been directly involved with drugs or criminal behaviour themselves or who have witness this from their parents and been there to listen, support and offer advice if this was required. I have leased with Probation teams to enable to best outcomes for our young adults .I have also been in a previous relationship many years ago where my partner was a drug addict and so I completely understand the effect that this can have on everyone involved in this persons life but especially the addict themselves. I do not judge people and I have a very empathic nature and I am always trying to put myself in other peoples shoes. I am a fantastic listener and have some knowledge in counselling. I enjoy trying to help others and to try and find a solution to problems or issues that other people may experience and will go above and beyond if I can. I enjoy new challenges I am firm but fair and I am not phased by challenging behaviour. I have a great deal of experience in conflict resolution, behaviour management and de escalation techniques. I feel I would be an asset to the team and to the people who need the help and support that your company offers.
