Outline: For 1 day i Joined an online work experience from Spectris it was a Science, engineering and Tech event.

Activities:

• Tours with industry professionals from well known companies such as Servomex and HBK.

• Obtained a deeper understanding the real - world applications of science in engineering.

Outline:

For 1 month i worked at a hotel as a maintenance engineer. for work experience which has improved my proficiency in teamwork and technical application skills, which are directly transferable to engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• This gave me practical experience with essential building systems which involved plumbing.

• Diagnosing faults in mechanical systems

• Maintained machinery by conducting routine checks and servicing.

• Assisted senior mechanics completing major repairs.
• Changed vehicle oil and replaced filter.
• Assessed vehicle maintenance status and completed kilometre-based services, including changing out belts, filling fluids and replacing gaskets.
• Conducted MOT tests, ensuring road safety compliance.
• Each day i assisted at least 5 customers on problems with their cars
