Completed a week-long placement gaining exposure to both the engineering and commercial sides of the telecoms industry. Toured the EPIC room, where I learnt about key telecoms equipment such as antennas and radios and how they function to provide us with our network, and attended meetings on commercial management, sales, pricing, project delivery and operations. This experience improved my understanding of how large tech companies operate and strengthened my confidence, communication and teamwork skills.
