• Held linguistic conferences for postgraduate research students (PGRs) in the department to create an opportunity for current PGR students to share their research topics and results with peers and enhance their knowledge of the current research field.
• Organised PGRs’ social networking activities to build a relaxed environment for PGRs that focuses on mutual support and building meaningful relationships with each other.
• Organised a seminar once a week during the academic term and invited guest speakers to share topics related to research development, mental well-being, and career development to help PGRs enhance skills in various aspects.
• Collaborated with other committee members to have regular team meetings, create term agendas, apply funding for activities, and collect feedback from PGRs.
• Successfully applied for funding for the conference and PGR social events (around £620).
• Prepared handover documents of committee duties with detailed descriptions and paperwork examples.
